| We will start from Pioneer Park on the right side of KY Route 17 about 3/4ths of a mile south of Exit 80 on Rt.275. (You can conveniently gas up just off the exit.)By doing this we can start together without getting separated and form up easily on RT.17S heading South towards Independence.
Then it's down famous RT.17 and Rt.27 to the Falmouth McDonalds for a bio break. For those who may not be familiar, Route 17 is one of the best non-interrupted twisty roads in the entire Cinci area, and for good reasons a favorite Miata Club road. Then we will head East on KY Route 22, another great non-interrupted drive, towards Augusta, entering the town on Routes 19/10 into Augusta. After enjoying the festival, we can return via the Augusta Ferry or take the KY side of the river back to 275. | |
| Directions: Get on RT.275 and get off on Exit 80. Then turn south on RT.17, getting gas if you need it, and look for Pioneer Park on the right, where we can easily line up for the start. Enter the park from the far (South) side and line up on the parking spaces. The drive takes a little less than two hours from there, depending on the bio break. | |
