Super Pretzel Drive
Date: Saturday July 20
Time: 2 PM
Location: See below
| I drive this route by myself about five times a year. Low or no traffic, constant curves. Think of this as a mini "Triple Nickel" drive.
99% traffic light free, just one curve after the next, including sweeping, tight, and sharp turns in an amazingly rural setting. The roads are smooth with very few potholes (hard to believe). Very few directions are needed (70% on the same road) so single drivers will do fine. When we get to the end we will reverse and retrace the drive, but in the opposite direction, which provides a completely different driving experience. A lite supper is available after the drive.
Directions: We'll meet at the Boone County Justice Center parking lot, located at 6025 Rogers Lane in Burlington, KY. Directions: Either from RT. 275, or RT.75/71, take RT 75/71 South to the Route 18 West exit (Exit 181) to Burlington KY via Rt. 18. When in Burlington, take a left (South)to 6025 Rogers Lane which is the Justice Center Parking lot, about 200 feet from the intersection.
