Rollin' on the river: a reprise of our 2015 small river towns tour | |

| We've changed up the drive this year and added two short backroads side trips on the Ohio side of the river in addition to a few river towns. The new 123 mile trip will still take us across the bridge to Maysville and on to a lunch stop at the Parkview Inn, Augusta where the great buffet lunch will still be $12.95 including drinks and dessert or you can choose the soup and salad bar for $5.95 with drinks and dessert extra. Ask to tour the rooms upstairs if you'd like.
Afterwards we can walk off lunch in some of the shops by the restaurant before heading back on KY19 to KY10 to Alexandria. KY 10 is a beautiful curvy road that runs the top of the ridges with great country views on both sides. As we follow KY27 north for the last 7 miles to 471/275 interchange, the drive ends with easy highway access. | |
