| I hate to cancel, but it looks like the backside of the virus bell curve will still be with us into June. The planning is mostly done so will not take much to schedule it for another date.
Plan is to meet for dinner at an Eastgate restaurant Friday at 6pm and drive to Athens hotel after dinner. Saturday and Sunday will have fun driving several round trip routes of Ohio�s Windy 9 (www.windy9.com). Along the way will be scenic stops, funky shops, ghost towns, art galleries, short hikes to museums, lunch in Stockport at the old mill, a visit to historic Nelsonville, and a scenic railroad ride ($18 - $16 for seniors). Hotels are on State Street in Athens and one will be selected shortly with room block reduced rates - hotel will have hot breakfasts. Plenty of restaurants are near hotels. Stay tuned for more details after March meeting. | |
