| Backroads drive borrowed from 102 mile bicycle race/tour. Can't imagine doing this on a bicycle! Beautiful KY scenery on both narrow country roads (no center line) and country roads with center line. 60 miles to Falmouth and 40 miles back. Lunch is at Howard's Place in Falmouth. After lunch, there's different backroads including KY-10 from Lenoxburg to Alexandria and back to 275 on KY-27. If you need to leave after lunch, you can travel back on 27 north from the restaurant.
There are no restroom facilities at the starting point, so please use the UDF 9242 Alexandria Pike which is on the right side of 27 south about 1.6 miles before Campbell County High School. Travel time to restaurant is about 1hr-45min and travel time back using backroads is 1hr-10min to 275 and 471. | |
| Directions: 27 South to Alexandria, KY. Turn right on Camel Crossing by the High School. Go past High School and take left on South Licking Pike. Take left in High School parking lot by the Athletic fields. | |
