| Craig Schlesinger of Queen City Coopers has arranged for a private tour of the Ohio State Reformatory (the prison in the movie "Shawshank Redemption") in Mansfield, OH for Thursday August 28 at 11:30. QCC has invited GCMC and the Ohio Valley Austin-Healey Club to join them. The goal is to have 20-30m who will reimburse their share of the $500 cost.
Getting there is up to each guest - be there by 11:30 on Thursday, August 28. There is a food canteen for lunch (probably after the tour). Afterward, Craig will have an organized, non-Interstate drive back to Greater Cincinnati. | |
| Directions: Northbound: I-71 North to Exit 176 - West on US 30 about 5 miles to OH 545 - left/north onto Olivesburg Road then left onto Reformatory Road. About 3 hours per Google - allow for morning traffic going through Columbus. | |
